**Responsibilities**:
Power design and implementation:

- Conduct technology analysis and research (EPS, rectifiers, storge solutions, alternative energy, renewable energy, HVAC, Inverters)
- Provide power solutions designs which are modular and scalable based on customer needs
- Testing and introduction of ancillary infrastructure (hardware and software solutions)
- Investigate management solutions to managing infrastructure remotely
- Compile and update technical documentation (Specifications, Work Instructions, Guidelines, Commissioning)
- Provide technical motivation and proposals/ solutions to customers and internal stakeholders
- Take part in tender evaluation processes
- Manage stakeholder relations with service providers
- Manage and support suppliers during development phase
- Provide high level support on technical products to regions and Facilities Management companies (FMC)
- Establish and maintain applicable database information
- Manage projects for Power solution deployment
- Support Sales and Marketing team and other relevant internal and external role players
- Promote the understanding of regulatory requirements related to electrical equipment and installations
- Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Life Cycle Costing (LCC) modelling Power Cost optimisation
- Monitor power usage of deployed ancillary infrastructure
- Develop reports/ analytics from data to measure energy performance on Mast and Towers portfolios
- Provide tenant billing documentation
- Provide energy usage optimisation proposals based on data
- Create awareness around Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Energy Wheeling, etc., to help support customers and Gyro meet its environmental targets
- Provide inputs on utility management and tariff optimisation
- Provide inputs and updates to the Environmental, Sustainability & Governance (ESG) strategy.

**Required Certification**:
ECSA registration will be advantageous.

**Qualifications**:
3-year degree/ diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering (NQF level 6).

**Experience**:
5 years relevant experience of which at least 2 years on supervisory/ management level.

**Special Requirements**:
Willing to work outside normal working hours when required.
Valid driver's license.
Willing to travel and stay out overnight.
