**National FMCG manufacturer and distributor ( edible foods) in Kempton Park area is seeking to employ an IR officer, to join their ever growing team**
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Full IR function:
- Advise Line Managers on disciplinary measures and/or processes to be followed and ensure implementation.
- Draft all warning, suspension and dismissal documentation.
- Ensure Grievance Hearings are attended to speedily.
- Attend all disciplinary enquiries to take notes, ensure procedural fairness and that all relevant documentation relating to the disciplinary enquiry is fully completed and signed by all parties involved.
- Represent the Company at CCMA and/or Bargaining Council.
- Update the IR Policy with relevant changes in legislation.
- Attend Union meetings as scheduled and record minutes of the meeting.
- Manage any disputes and/or employee unrest that may arise within the workplace.
- HR Administration and Reporting as and when required.
- Liaising with Line Managers in advising and supporting their departments.
- Ad-hoc duties.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Extensive knowledge of the BCEA, LRA, POPIA and Skills Development Acts.
- Be familiar with all CCMA / Bargaining Council processes.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

- Must have own vehicle & driver’s license and be fully conversant in IsiZulu.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum qualification - a Diploma in Labour / Employee Relations.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience as an IR Officer with experience preparing for and handling CCMA and Bargaining Council referrals and representing the Company.
- Must have experience working in a Unionised environment.
