Quality Assurance Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Quality Assurance and Automation team leadership:
- Take responsibility for the quality of software developed across the company by working closely with all the Software Development Manager, Product Owners, DevOps Manager, General Manager and CIO. Quality is the responsibility of everyone, not just Testing.
- Manage the Quality Assurance and Automation team on how to deliver the goals of the organisation.
- Establish and implement the overall test framework(s).
- Assisting and guiding other testers and conducting peer reviews.
- Identify bottlenecks and come up with novel ways to solve them.
- Adhering to standards for testing and test strategy.
- Maintain compliance with business process and policies.
- Identify and stay up-to-date with new technology trends.
- Project and Scrum Team Engagements:
- Working within the Project Team as Scrum Master and/or as Senior Quality Assurance or Senior Automation Engineer.

- Working with the other team members to ensure effective test coverage.
- Working with the other team members to investigate problems.
- Design, develop and maintain test plans and test cases.
Perform quality assurance on functional, regression and load/performance testing.
- Support the entire product lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support).
- Gather test metrics to effectively report the progress of testing and final test result.
- Participating in daily stand-ups.
- Other duties as required**:
- **Education & Experience Required**:
- 7+ years software testing experience.
- Experience in managing teams.
- Experience giving technical direction to both onsite and offshore team members.
- Experience with end-user testing, usability testing, web services testing API (REST), web testing and mobile testing (Java and Swift).
- Demonstrated coding and scripting languages skills (like C#, Java, etc.) Demonstrated test case writing skills.
- Experience implementing test tools and frameworks Direct experience working in an Agile environment.**:
- **Knowledge and Skills**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be highly innovative, flexible and self-directed.
- Ability to manage a high-performance team focused on accountability and meeting expectations.
- Experience working in a small or medium software development company.
- Must be able to work well on a personal level with colleagues.
- Testing certifications (like ISTQB) are a bonus.
- Healthcare domain expertise is a bonus.
- **Working conditions/Environment**:
- May be required to work beyond office hours as required by the needs of the department and this position as well as the needs of the organisation.
- Some travel may be required.
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations is required.
- Manual dexterity required to use laptop, iPad and peripherals.
