CRM Lead:advertising: Online Retailer

We have an exciting opportunity for a mid - senior CRM Lead: Advertising to join the team at a leading South African online retailer in Cape Town. This fabulous, young, dynamic, hyper growth company is on the lookout for a smart, creative, hardworking individuals to fill this terrific position.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with Lead Sales Specialists to segment the seller and supplier base
- Create, implement, and evaluate the CRM strategy
- Improve the penetration rate of sellers and suppliers using the self-service tool
- Increase the retention rate
- Evaluate and report on the various communication channels effectiveness
- Manage communication platforms
- Develop and implement communication strategy
- Find ways to segment customer base
- Create automated journeys
- Report back on performance of communication
- Optimise based on the performance of the different channels.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Marketing
- Experience in an e-commerce environment
- Analytical and data-driven with a demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- Tech savvy with a deep understanding of sophisticated CRM Tools and Marketing Automation Software (like Salesforce and Braze)
- A grounding in Marketing and Communication principles
- Solutions-oriented with a proactive and can-do attitude
- A strong working knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
- Experience in campaign reporting and analysis
- Experience building triggered/lifecycle campaigns (advantageous)
- Experience creating personalised marketing campaigns (advantageous)
- Experience using Google BigQuery and Looker (advantageous).
