Learning and Capability Development Officer

**Job Purpose**:
Bidvest International Logistics is looking to employ a Learning and Capability Development Officer. The successful incumbent will be responsible for identifying training requirements through partnership with business, manage projects to design training content and facilitate the training material to all stakeholders. He/She will develop and deliver innovative training content that aligns to the business needs. Identify appropriate and effective methods to deliver the learning intervention ie coaching, job-shadowing, online training, face-face training, blended learning, on-the-job training.
The successful incumbent should have at least 10 years experience in training content development, E-learning and facilitation.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
Incumbent must have completed 1 of the following:
- National Diploma in Human Resource Management
- Facilitate learning using a variety of given methodologies -Advantageous
- Train-the-trainer - Advantageous
- Experience_
- A minimum of 10 years experience in training content development, E-learning and facilitation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and managing activities to meet multiple competing deadlines.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Create and execute learning plans and programs
- Implement various learning methods (Eg coaching, job-shadowing, online training, face-face training, blended learning) to create and deliver innovative learning programs
- Conceptualise, research, design, develop and deliver frameworks and practices that drive digital transformation within BIL
- Evaluate and revise existing learning content to enhance the engagement, functionality and visual presentation
- Provide input and guidance into the development of learning programs by SME's
- Build organisational capabilities by aligning learning programs to organisational strategy and needs
- Assess business needs, incorporate employee feedback, identify gaps and design the right mix of learning experience
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and report on this information to key stakeholders across the organisation
- Design and develop a learning programme blueprint
- Quality assurance of learning content developed by SME prior to being published onto the E-learning platform to ensure material quality and consistency
- Determine program structure, sequence, duration and pace
- Design and develop assessments / techniques that demonstrates an understanding and transfer of skills of the learning intervention
- Determine program evaluation methodology, data collection methods, timing and reporting formats
- Ensure all learning programs are signed off by the relevant sponsor within the agreed timeframes
- Ensure all content is up to date and audited - provide reporting accordingly
- Make recommendations on training interventions that are based on thorough research and understanding of industry and company needs
- Assist employees with LMS related enquiries
- Build a collaborative partnership with management and staff
