**PAYROLL & BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR (MATERNITY COVER - START IMMEDIATELY)**

**CRITERIA**:

- Matric with 5 year’s payroll and benefits working experience
- HR qualification highly advantageous;
- Computer literate (MS Office Suite) j
- Proficiency on Oracle HR System would be highly advantageous
- Numerate, with a flair for figures;
- Good understanding of PAYE, UIF, SDL and other statutory knowledge;
- Distinct advantage would be to have an understanding of Sectorial Determination 9;
- Must be able to work in a highly pressurised and deadline driven environment.

**DAILY FUNCTIONS**:

- Provide exceptional service from the Employee Benefits Department (EBD), processing payroll while providing HR admin support.
- Maintenance of the Oracle payroll and HR system;
- Daily payroll input to ensure employees are paid timeously;
- Keeping accurate records and filing of:

- New engagements, terminations, promotions and transfers, caretaking and other allowances;
- Leave balance audits;
- Daily queries;
- Any input affecting salaries;
- Month end reconciliations and payments;
- Liaise between HR, divisional offices, Retirement Fund Administrators and Healthcare

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
