**Responsibilities**:

- Control credit facilities granted to customers
- Timeous collection of debts within the prescribed credit limits
- Manage the credit control team in order to achieve collections targets
- Manage and monitor ongoing risk on accounts and managing relationships with clients
- Handle all legal requirements pertaining to bad debts
- Prepare and submit debtor reports on a monthly basis
- Monitor, implementation and maintenance of Credit Risk Policies and Procedures including FICA compliance
- Maintain a complete and accurate statement of outstanding debtors
- Provide complete debtors forecast information to assist the management of revenue cycle
- Oversee the reconciliation of all major retailers, commercial seed customers and international customers.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Credit Management Diploma / B.Com
- 7 - 10 years credit experience and 3+ years’ experience in a Management role essential
- Understanding and Knowledge of Accounting principles and procedures
- General Ledger systems and AR Ledger systems experience essential
- Strong skills in MS Office and MS Excel Advanced essential
- Knowledge and skills in accounting software (Sage X3 advantageous)
- Chain store experience essential
