Our client is a leading **financial service** provider that aims to give its customers the best **available financial products and service offerings**. They provide quick, reliable assistance in urgent situations, help make everyday life a little easier, and provide simple self-service solutions that cater to all your financial needs.

Our client is looking for a **creative** and **inspired** individual to fill their **Head of Information Security** position. You will be responsible for all cyber security **strategic planning** in the company. You will also oversee all **security risk management **procedures and practices throughout the company.

**What you will do**:

- Lead, Manage and Mentor cyber security Teams while driving operational effectiveness- Prioritize and drive the cyber security plans and supporting plans. Manage, and develop the security operating model, its process, and practices-
- Take responsibility for identifying and detecting security incidents and prepare quarterly reports to present to seniors-
- Manage and monitor third party Cyber Security solutions and services- Identify and monitor environmental threats and technology trends to improve the deployment of cyber security controls.

**What we are looking for**:

- +9 years of experience in Cyber Security with 5 years in a Lead Technical role- Comes from a technical background with the ability to implement industry practices and frameworks-
- Experience in Offensive (Mobile, API, Pentesting), Defensive (EDR, SIEM. IR) and Application (Secure Coding) security. Coupled with Knowledge in GRC, Operations and Cyber Security Engineering-
- Professional interpersonal and intrapersonal skills (verbal, written and relationship building)-
- Experience working with IT Risk Teams to ensure the mitigation and shutdown of threats- Relevant security qualifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP).

- Problem-solving skills and a willingness to take over a job if necessary- Self-motivated and the ability to multitask and handle stressful deadlines
