An exciting tyre manufacturing client of ours is currently seeking a Skills Development Manger to join their team. The main purpose of this position is to consolidate the overall training strategy of the company and all its divisions, support the Transformation Manager, HR and Business Leaders in implementing BBBEE learning and development activities and maximize the skills development score in the organization. This position will be based in Kariega, in the Eastern Cape.

**Responsibilities**:
Consolidate the overall training strategy of the company and all its divisions
Implement BBBEE skills development initiatives and processes to maximize the skills development score
Focus is to increase BBBEE skills development score by scoping for and implementing accredited learning solutions and learner programs
Supporting the Transformation Manager, HR, and Business Leaders in implementing BBBEE learning and development activities, ensuring alignment between CSD, Merseta initiatives and business needs
Propose and implement learner programs to support EE and BBBEE targets
Lead the CSD pillar in the manufacturing organization to ensure achievement of Plant Optimization goals
Act as Skills Development Facilitator, maintaining relationships with Merseta to ensure compliance to maximize available grants
Represent the organization in the New Tyre Chamber
Submit the Annual Training Report and Workplace Skills Plan annually
Monitor and manage Mandatory and Discretionary grants
Maintain the Merseta Learner Management System
Implement and maintain the required Quality Management System
Implement the organization's Education assistance and Bursary program for associates
Liaise with associates and institutions
Review and ensure adherence to policies
Manage compliance to Merseta, internal and external audit requirements by implementing and maintaining the Training QMS of the organization
Responsible for all Training Specialists and Co-Ordinator's in Manufacturing with a matrix responsibility for Sales
Training and Technical Training (non-manufacturing)

**Requirements**:
University degree in Economics, Psychology, and/or Education
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Learning & development roles in internationally operating matrix companies
Heavy emphasis in the areas of leadership development, training, facilitation, and content creation
Demonstrated ability to have impact on business results
Fluency in English
Enthusiastic, high-energy L&D expert with well-developed influencing skills with the confidence and ability to work at all levels of the organization
Strong general business acumen, who can work well in a complex matrix environment
A transformation-minded expert who is results-focused and can execute on ideas
Ability to work in/with regional/global operating matrix organizations
Strong interpersonal skills (internal & external)
Proven coaching skills - coach to senior position
