**Job purpose**:
We are recruiting Sales Executives to operate direct field sales of fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) Broadband services to customers within the live network area.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
- Building and executing on the area sales strategy for **new build areas** in the network.
- Pre-marketing areas as the network is being established
- Direct door-to-door sale activities within the network coverage
- Self-generate opportunities to present the company and products
- Qualifying prospects and pipeline management, acquiring customers
- Travel throughout the region and visit prospects daily reporting results
- Be responsible and accountable for meeting targets and deadlines
- Ensure daily/monthly targets are met and captured Lead Management Tool /CRM is updated efficiently and timeously, in order for the Field Sales Manager to compile daily/monthly statistics
**About You**:
- Has worked in a target-driven environment for a minimum of 2years’ experience
- Has sold a premium product that requires customer education and engagement
- B2C/B2B sales or account management experience a distinct advantage
- Has performed within a field sales environment and public events, proactive contact
- Telecoms experience is preferable but not essential as training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills(verbal and written), computer literate and technically savvy for CRM, workload and territory planning tools
- Able to work full time (8hr working day + 1hr lunch, with flexibility to work on a Saturday and Sunday to support the business if need be at events and functions)
The role will involve liaison with new customers and across the business. Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering excellence in customer service are paramount. Although a background in transactional utility sales would be helpful, a proven history in a sales role coupled with professionalism, enthusiasm, and the ability to multi-task are ideal. You’ll likely be interested in technology, and be keen to learn about fibre broadband delivery.
**Full training will be provided and there will be on-the-job learning about all systems and networks currently in use.**
**Basic + Uncapped Commission**
**Salary**: R4,500.00 - R10,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Fibre Sales: 1 year (required)
- Customer Service: 1 year (required)
License/Certification:
- Drivers License (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 100% (required)
