Openings: 03 Job Location: Johannesburg, South Africa **Job Type**: Long Term B2B Contract May be Remote General Requirements: 1. Knowledge of the "Sterling Stack" so Sterling File Gateway and/or B2Bi, Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling Connect: Direct, and Sterling/IBM Control Center. 2. Should be a person who has implemented and maintained these products before, so not just an operational support person, but an implementer. 3. If they come from a development background that's preferred and if it's from Java development background then even better. 4. But the main thing is they have to know the Sterling products mentioned above at a technical level. Skills Required: IBM Sterling B2Bi, UN/CEFACT, Websphere Transformation Extender (WTX), VBA, XSLT, XPATH, GEFEG-FX modeling tool, WCO (World Customs Organization) The person needs to understand the UN/CEFACT standard, have experience with Websphere Transformation Extender (WTX) map development and support as well as IBM Sterling B2Bi business process (BP) development and support including experience with onboarding new partners, new transactions, and making changes to existing partner EDI setups and related code tables to meet internal and external requirements. The ability to create and support complex SQL queries is required. Support and development of VBA, XSLT, XPATH functions and some web design capabilities. Monitoring and support of operational environments. Provide periodic and ad hoc statistics related to EDI submissions. Harvest, generate, maintain, and report on results of test packs used to verify stability of back-end changes.
