**Position Overview**: One To One Africa is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team. The Finance Officer will play a key role in managing the financial activities of the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Financial Management**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Process financial transactions, including payments, invoices, and receipts.
- Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow to ensure liquidity.
- Creditors Management

**2. Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Provide support in developing financial forecasts and projections.
- Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to management.

**3. Financial Reporting**:

- Generate financial reports for management, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local and donor reporting requirements.

**4. Compliance and Auditing**:

- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation for annual audits and liaise with auditors.
- Implement recommendations from audit reports to strengthen financial controls.

**5. Donor Financial Management**:

- Track and manage project-specific budgets and expenditures.
- Prepare financial reports for donors in accordance with grant agreements.
- Work closely with program managers to ensure financial accountability for projects.

**6. Reconciliations**
- Reconcile credit card statements, petty cash, creditors and travel advances.
- Make any necessary adjustments to the financial records based on the reconciliation findings. This could include correcting errors, updating records, or addressing any discrepancies.

**7. Training and On-boarding**
- Training and On-boarding staff on Finance policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Post Graduate Qualification will be an added advantage
