**Job Purpose**
- The Senior Specialist Guarantees is responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of Guarantees, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining robust operational controls to mitigate risks. This role requires a deep understanding of Guarantee processes, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- 1.Operational Management:

- Oversee daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Monitor and manage transactions, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
- 2. Risk Management and Compliance:

- Develop and implement operational controls to mitigate risks associated with Guarantee issuance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 3. Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and reduce operational bottlenecks.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the department’s practices remain current and compliant.
- 4. Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare and present regular reports on guarantee activities, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Analyse transactional data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and other tools to monitor performance and compliance.
- Essential Qualifications -NQF Level
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably a BCOM
- Minimum Experience Level
- Minimum 3 years people management experience
- 5 years Financial Services experience in Guarantee Execution or Lending
