**OVERVIEW**:
We are seeking to employ a dependable plumber to join our company. The plumber will oversee installing, inspecting and repairing pipes and plumbing systems to make sure all of a building’s fixtures operate correctly. Duties include finding the source of leaks and blockages, fixing, or replacing broken parts and testing the plumbing system.

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The person will be required to deal with complexity in a fast-paced environment.

**Installation: i**nstalling new plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings and following blueprints and adhering to plumbing codes to install pipes, valves, fixtures (sinks, toilets, bathtubs etc.), and appliances that utilize water or gas.

**Maintenance and Repair**: Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to identify and address potential problems before they cause leaks, clogs, or backups.. Troubleshoot and repair existing plumbing issues, ensuring everything functions smoothly and safely.

**Safety**:Follow safety protocols to protect themselves and others from hazards like scalding water, gas leaks, and raw sewage.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Qualified Plumber
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
- 3 Years Plumbing experience.
- 2 Years experience working as a technician.
- Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites.
- Perform installation of plumbing systems at new properties
- Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites.
- Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems.
- Answer calls for plumbing issues from general contractors.
- Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains.
- Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections.
- Communicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction.
- Communicate well with team members and fellow employees.
- Manage a work log.
- Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites.
- Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to clients.
