and smooth flow of service in the restaurant. In addition to greeting and seating guests, you will assist the restaurant team where

needed to enhance the overall dining experience.

Position: Food & Beverage Associate - Hostess

Department: Restaurant \ Banqueting

Location: Premier Splendid Inn Pinetown

**Responsibilities**:

- Warmly welcome guests as they arrive and manage table seating in a professional and efficient manner
- Support the restaurant team with taking orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables during peak periods
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the menu and daily specials to assist with guest inquiries and recommendations
- Ensure the dining area is clean, set up, and ready for service
- Assist with processing payments when required, using the POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Uphold Premier Hotel’s high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar front-of-house or restaurant service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional demeanour with a guest-first attitude
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling is advantageous
- Strong teamwork and willingness to assist across functions
- Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
