**Key Performance area**:
**1. Ensure timeous and accurate completion of all administration**
- Obtain quality information of new employees in First Assist and ensuring that new employees have been loaded on the clocking machine.
- Completion of all New starter administration in line with HR Standards.
- Complete relevant checks on prospective employees.
- Completion of all General Administration is done accurately.
- Regular miantenance of probation reviews - ensuring it is done within First Assist.

**2.** **Provide support and assistance with the Disciplinary and Grievance Procedure**
- Schedule meetings with labour consultant through Bluespec HR Head Office to chair disciplinary enquiries.
- Obtain relevant information regarding the trangression from Line Manager in order to prepare notification of hearing.
- Send notification of hearing to Line Manager ad employee.
- On receipt of outcomes of hearings, Line Manager to ensure it is communicated and Payroll at HO to be notified to ensure that appropriate payrollaction is taken.
- Guide management and provide assistance with disciplinary issues such as warnings,counselling sessions,grievances ,etc.
- The attendance of CCMA cases if and when required.

**3.** **Ensure timeous and accurate completion of month end reports**
- Monthly completion of HR report for First Assist.
- Where necessary oversee and assist with compilation of ad hoc reports.

**4. Ad hoc functions**
- Update and create job titles and codes and ensure the correct skill level is linked to the job title.
- Assist with any health and saftey requirements.
- Ensure that level scheduling is done at First Assist.
- Conduct audits on employee files and general information on an ad hoc basis.
- Assist with staffing requirements to maximise efficiency in order to avoid First Assist being over staffed and/or understaffed.
- Getting job profiling signed within First Assist.

**5. Relationship building with Key Stakehold**e**rs**
- Focus on communication and guidance which instils adherence to group standard.

**6.** **Ensuring Compliance internally and at branch level**
- Guide and ensure that the minimum annual increase are in line with legislation.
- Oversea adherence to relative legislative Acts/agreement -BCEA, EE, SD, LRA etc.
- Ensure EE meetings are being conducted and the file is maintained at First Assist.
- Consistently working on improving First Assist adherence to HR and Payroll deadlines.
- Completing of all duties in line with the HR -Standard Operating Manual.
- Cost control cognizance and not simply accepting at face value the authorisation to employ replacement notification.

**Critical experience**:

- 5+ years in HR administration
- Industrial relations exposure
- HR degree / Diploma
- Microsoft (all suites) - Intermediate
