**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
Responsible for all warehouse related activities internally and externally this include the following: Processing, Mixing Packing, 3PL's (3rd Party Logistics) and Imports. The optimization of all company resources in the form of people and equipment to effectively manage the warehouse operations effectively. Liaise space requirements with Outside storages when the need arise. Manage space utilization on a weekly basis in all outside storages. Arrange delivery and collection of all WIP (Work-In-Progress) when required with external warehouses. Implementing strict inventory management principals based on FIFO (First-In-First-Out).

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- **
Good Warehouse management Principles**:

- Responsible for compiling a weekly warehouse utilization report.
- Ensure that process orders are opened in SAP for production from Processing ,Mixing and Packing.
- Responsible for the receiving, storing and securing of inventory until required.
- Responsible that empty storage bin locations are supplied by storeman at the beginning of the shift.
- Responsible for auditing the stacking practices within the Bulk Cold Stores.
- Maximize warehouse capacity and ensure that the aisles of the warehouses are clear and not cluttered.
- Responsible that storeman are performing daily issue and receiving counts and reconcile with clerks.
- **
First In First Out Principle**:

- Responsible for planning the oldest best before dates for inventory to be supplied to Packing and Mixing departments.
- Optimizing SAP to extract Best Before information as a guideline and plan picking of inventory accordingly.
- Supply all stakeholders with the SAP extracted FIFO information to ensure picking compliance.
- Monitor conformance through SAP and address non-conformances.
- Responsible for auditing FIFO movement through SAP T-Codes LT22 and MB51 to view consumption.
- Responsible for extracting and down loading monthly ageing WIP report using SAP T-Code ZMB52 and submit to the warehouse manager.
- Responsible for managing and planning of blocked stock for re-working or for consumption in Packing and Mixing.

SAP WM**:

- Responsible for auditing all SAP interim storage bins: 400 series and 900 series, investigate and correct any variances found within the 48hr period.
- Responsible for monitoring that there are no un-confirmed transfer orders using SAP T-code LT22 for this investigation.
- Responsible for monitoring and clearing all negative inventory in SAP storage type 304.
- Responsible for reporting non-conformances to the warehouse manager.
- Responsible for auditing SAP Goods receipts against RTM (Real-Time Management) to enhance the accuracy of information populated by Cold Store clerks in both systems.
- Responsible that all GRV transactions for WIP movement between Springs and 3PL's are completed timeously in SAP.
- **
Systems maintenance**:

- Responsible to monitor clerks staging movement in SAP using SAP T-code LT22.
- Responsible to monitor SAP transactions using SAP T-code MB51.
- Responsible for clearing negative inventory using SAP T-code LT10, LT01.
- Responsible to monitor the goods in transit in using SAP T-code MB5T.
- **
Housekeeping, General GMP’s and Safety**:

- Ensure all Bulk Cold Stores are kept neat and tidy at all times (Good manufacturing practices), free of clutter and waste.
- Ensure that the company safety rules with regards to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe working conditions are adhered to at all times.
- Perform Risk Assessments ,BOS & Good Catches as required and as contraventions are spotted.
- Ensure that all tasks are performed in a safe manner, not to endanger self and the safety of co-employees
- Initiate daily departmental safety talks.
- Ensure that all storeman are performing their daily warehouse inspections and that non-conformances are fixed immediately.
- Training of new employees in the Cold Store department.
- **
Ad Hoc Tasks**:

- Any reasonable request must be carried out when required.
- Assisting other functions in the Cold Stores Department, should the need arise though, e.g. absenteeism, staff shortage, work pressure, etc.
- Assisting with any other task or function, as and when required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12 or Equivalent.
- Diploma/Degree in Inventory management/Warehouse Management or any other relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain FMCG warehouse control within a manufacturing plant environment.
- Valid Forklift License.
- Valid Reach Truck License.
