**Regional Supply Chain Manager**

**Rosebank**

Our client, a leading listed property concern, seeks to appoint a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for the strategic sourcing / procurement function. The suitable incumbent will have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role coupled with proven management experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

**Education and Experience**:

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Min 5 years’ experience in **strategic sourcing / procurement function**, with experience of tenders, negotiations, savings planning & savings achievement, supplier due diligence, contract writing and contract negotiations.
- Strong proven management experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management with a track record of solid management behaviour and results.
- Significant experience leading and conducting negotiations for contracts with domestic & international sources across a wide portfolio of categories.
- Experience working with third party clients.
- Proven experience in managing a P & L or budget, and deliver plan results.
- Significant experience leading and conducting negotiations for contracts with domestic & international sources across a wide portfolio of categories.
- The ability to work with and influence a broad range of stakeholders and supplier staff at senior levels.
- Able to plan and manage multiple work programmes effectively.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Responsible for negotiating and contracting with the supply base, ensuring alignment with Category and overall Business plans.
- In conjunction with the key business stakeholders, conduct sourcing activities that optimise value across the supplier & business relationships and third-party clients who operate across a wide range of industries.
- In line with the sourcing calendar conduct industry deep dive analysis to support Business with commercial understanding of the market place.
- Provide proactive insight to long term potential sourcing strategies.
- Develop & refine the procurement processes to minimise efforts & maximise benefits through compliance & specification controls.
- Assess and implement SC risk controls to reduce risk in the Supply Chain.
- Define most appropriate sourcing procurement process to be used.
- Ensure that the range of services & or products has been sourced and negotiated at the lowest net price and met the businesses needs.
- Supplier performance management.
- Initial contracting administration & set up to execute the contract
- Continually strive to seek out opportunities to improve the overall profitability of the business by leveraging market & product expertise across distribution, products and services.
- Formulate a Category/Commodity Strategy including critical metrics and Savings targets/Gross Margin Improvement and successfully lead to execution.
- Working Capital Programme implementation in own region and managing collections.

**Salary**: Up to R1,000,000.00 per year
