Matric and RE5 is essential
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Claims Administrator / Consultant
Motor and non-motor claims experience is required
Experience with personal and commercial lines claims
Reliable transport
Relevant NQF 4 or NQF 5 qualification within the financial industry (120 credits)
Personal lines and commercial lines class of business certificate, if applicable
Registration and facilitation of motor and non-motor claims
Arranging emergency service assistance for clients such as roadside assistance or burst geyser
Notifying the relevant insurance company that they will be receiving a claim form
Continuously monitoring the progress of the claim and updating the client accordingly
Obtaining photos from clients for vehicle damage, damaged items etc.
Continuously follow up on claim progress with insurers
Contacting the assessor to understand why the claim was rejected or only paid out portion of the claim
Ensuring the assessor contacts the client to discuss the claim
Discussing settlement with client and ensuring client signs agreement of loss
Arranging for collection of the salvage from the client
Analysing the settlement amount and negotiating this with the insurer to ensure the client receives a fair settlement
Ensuring the clients item has been successfully replaced/ money has reflected in clients account
