**Motus Toyota Bedfordview** currently holds a vacancy for a **Dealer Principal.**
This position is regarded as a key senior management role and it would be expected that the individual will properly manage the Dealership and ensure its profitability.
Reporting to the **Divisional Retail Director,** the Dealer Principal is fully responsible for the management of the Dealership, which includes:

- Ability to control cash flow, stock and assets at a level commensurate with profit requirements and satisfactory return on investment
- Ability to manage risk and ensure audit requirement compliance
- Ability to ensure dealer compliance to franchise standards and target requirements
- Ability to create a high-performance culture and climate in the dealership

- Ensure that all assets of the Company are properly secured
- Monitor the market position consistently, and the sales versus manufacturer’s targets
- Monitor the sales versus NAAMSA, the competitors’ sales and market activity, and compare the performance against the previous year
- Draw up the basic marketing and action plan (in conjunction with all Managers) on all sales and marketing related issues which also involve Toyota’s pyramid of excellence, whilst ensuring its cost effectiveness
- Forecast peaks sales criteria to maximize stock levels
- Review all pricing policies, sales discounts, fleet discounts, parts pricing, and labour rates
- Ensure that stock levels are kept at required levels and forecast for the future
- Monitor the ageing of stocks and effect adjustments to keep in place
- Compare CE against the previous year, the previous month, dealer category and national standards
- Educate and train frontline staff on CE
- Ensure all staff are aware of our CE position as and when figures become available
- Generate research into Customer Satisfaction requirements for improvement
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management
- A minimum of 3 years in a Dealer Principal position
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Clear Criminal and Credit Record
- Fully computer literate
- Motor industry trading experience
**Skills and Personal Attributes**:
- Basic business and financial acumen
- Sound knowledge of manufacturer requirements.
- Knowledge of governance and compliance regulations and requirements
