New Business Sales Executive

Our client in the freight forwarding industry is urgently looking to employ an experienced New Business Sales Executive at their organization_
- Location: Pomona, Kempton Park_
- Job Purpose:_
- The objective is to grow the company revenue, profitability, and trading base through achieving set forwarding and clearing sales targets as defined by the business._
- Requirements:_
- _ Matric_
- _ Tertiary qualification in logistics_
- _ 3-5 years in the Freight Forwarding Sales / operational environment_
- _ Understanding of Freight Processes (All Modes)_
- _ Understanding of international trade and purchasing (Inco Terms)_
- _ Understanding of high-level Customs Processes pertaining to Clearing_
- _ Understanding of Clearing and Forwarding pricing and ability to analyze_
- _ Own vehicle with a valid driver's license_
- Responsibilities:_
- New Business Acquisition_
- _ Present and sell company products and services to potential clients_
- _ Prepare presentations, proposals, and estimates_
- _ Establish and maintain strong client and potential client relationships_
- _ Develop external stakeholders and Agencies_
- _ Ensure that all services within the companys portfolio is being Sold_
- Profitability_
- _ Identify Additional complimentary Services that would increase profitability_
- _ Identify and propose Ancillary Services that the company could do to increase customer satisfaction_
- Lead generation_
- _ Follow up on new leads and referrals_
- _ Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned_
- _ Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face, cold calling and networking_
- Sales_
- _ Pipeline Management Weekly / Monthly_
- Process adherence_
- _ Call Reporting - CRM (Focus)_
- _ Fulfill and Prepare Weekly reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to agreed KPIs CRM (Focus)_
- _ Identify and resolve client concerns_
