- To facilitate and support the effective management of the Enterprise Wide and Operational Risk Frameworks in order to manage current and emerging risks to assist Nedbank in achieving its objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor Operational risks and determine the state of adherence to ORMF and ERMF in client facing Clusters.
- Ensure policy requirements are adhered to and adequate operational risk management practices implemented.
- Ensure execution of the annual Operational and Enterprise Risk Framework requirements.
- Provide input and ensure accurate reporting and articulation of the business risk profile.
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders by establishing partnerships in managing operational risks.
- Engage with stakeholders formally through determining scope of work, understanding and identifying client needs.
- Train/coach relevant internal stakeholders in business systems by following training guides and using approved support material.
- Keep abreast of industry changes and legislative changes that impacts on role by reading the relevant newsletters, websites and attending sessions.
- Contribute to a culture of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives, including CSI.
- Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learnings are completed, experience practiced, and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames.
- Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Preferred Qualification- Bachelor of Commerce: Accounting, Bachelor of Commerce: Internal Auditing
- Essential Certifications- Relevant professional bodies (SAICA, CISA, IRMSA, EISA, SAIFM)
- Minimum Experience Level- 5 years Banking experience and/or 3 years Operational risk experience
