Leading financial institution is looking for a Sales Head to join their Durban based branch.
**Qualifications and Skills**:

- MBA or other equivalent business management degree
- Minimum of 15 Years banking experience and 5 Years experience at Executive level
- Able to lead effectively under pressure, conveying a strong sense of confidence in one’s intentions and those of the organisation
- Understands relevant financial and commercial knowledge and applies this knowledge to be able to optimise financial resources to meet current and/or future priorities

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Achievement of net profit growth for business
- Drive an increase in average balance of specific portfolio of liabilities (e.g.
- Call reports, 32 Day Deposits, Fixed Deposits) as defined in the Financial Performance Report of the Business
- Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency
- Service Culture Develop a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service
- Strategic Relationship management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external parties to support the sales strategy
- Growth of Active Customer
- Account Base
- Manage the growth of active customer Account Base to increase client base
- Maximise Business Portfolio cross sell opportunities
- Channel Migration Facilitate channel migration of customers to ensure most effective way of banking customers
- Achievement of Sales Team
- Targets
- Track, control and influence sales activities with the specific aim to achieve previously determined sales team targets
