**Overall Purpose of Role**:
The Head of Retail Sales, defines, articulates, and implements the company strategy for selling products. He/she develops forecasts and strategies to achieve sales KPIs including new accounts, volume, gross and net deposits. He/she actively seeks out major customers and ensures strong relationships between our clients and the Acquisition/Retention teams within the Retail Sales department.

The individual could be asked from time to time to do work outside of those listed below but will still be relevant to the position.
Training
- Providing insight on products and services to the sales team to use in the sales pitch.
- Ensuring all sales team members are well trained to handle customer queries for client retention and acquisition purposes.
- Ensure that there is synergy between sales and other departments, including client and partner onboarding.
- For any product additions to our platform or new promotions, the Head of Sales should provide any training needs, distribute T&C’s of promotions, and ensure agents abide and share T&C’s with their clients.
- Educating clients on the concept of margin trading, trading in different asset classes, and comfort and familiarity with the company trading platform.
Department management
- Monthly Agent and BDM reviews.
- Provide feedback to the Chief Revenue Officer and support setting weekly, monthly, annual, and seasonal sales targets for both acquisition and retention.
- Leave management.
- Work with the Chief Revenue Officer in the development of plans, strategies, structures, budgets, visions, and establishment of goals, visions, and values for the department.
- Examining growth opportunities for the business.
- Enabling sales improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the department’s performance.
- Handling the complete sales process for direct clients and IBs.
Customer acquisition & retention strategy
- Implementing sales strategies that advance the department's agenda and increase revenue generation for the company.
- IB value proposition and strategy.
- Provide an optimized market mix in relation to the core target consumers and identifies the roadmap that will lead to the achievement of the department's goals as well as the overall business goals.
- Create and implement sales action plans that incorporate key actions that work to set KPIs for the business.
- Reactivation of dormant retail clients.
- Collaboration with the Product development team to create product intelligence, such as product/brand initiatives, display rules, and trend analysis aligned to support and drive sales and conversions.
- Tailoring unique strategies around new product offerings for direct clients and IBs.
- Data analysis and translation of actionable strategies that drive sales and lead to the achievement of targets.
- Ensuring that the marketing campaigns and promotional activities are bringing in quality leads.
- Identification and implementation of road maps for the achievement of set goals and objectives.
- Engage in pre-sales by contacting prospects.
- Driving profitable business to the group.
- Analyzing the current business model.
- Running projects based on market analysis.
- Monitors the brand and identifies new trends ahead of the curve offering the business a competitive advantage over the competitors.
- Manage key relationships with external parties and consumers in relation to the business.
Reports
- Weekly sales reports on acquisition, retention, and sales volumes.
- Monthly board reports on team performance.

**Educational / Experience Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years of retail sales experience within financial markets
- Understanding of forex and CFD regulatory environment.
