Legal Secretary

Our client, a well-established and respected firm based in Durbanville, offering professional services across various sectors is on the hunt for a Legal Secretary, to join their team. **Key Responsibilities**:
Assisting attorneys with document preparation, proofreading, and formatting
Manage and organize legal files and documents, both electronically and physically
Scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates
Communicating with clients, court personnel, and other law firms
Handling general administrative tasks, such as data entry and phone correspondence
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
Matric/ Grade 12
Legal qualification will be adv.
Minimum of 2 - 4 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role is preferred
Litigation experience
Working experience on Road Accident Fund, Personal Injury, and Medical Negligence claims
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to travel locally
Own reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
**Skills**:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Afrikaans required)
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R15 000,00 - R21 000,00 per month
