Controller (Rcg)

**Job Purpose**:

Qualifications**
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification would be an advantage

**Experience**
- At least 2 years experience as a Forwarding Controller of similar position
- Experience in all aspects of International Forwarding - Sea Freight
- CargoWise exerience

**Key Responsibilities**:
Receive E mails from all National Forwarding Ocean Import Forwarding Controllers to file RCG.

Check attached documents to ensure that all relevant documents have been enclosed.

Reference documents to CargoWise shipment File & Consol.

Complete Manifest Details on Consolidationa and check for accuracy of data capture.

Process RCG manifest and send to Customs

Monitor Progress of RCG Messages and notify Controllers when message is successful.

Resolve any error messages

Monitor Online Dashboard to ensure data is relected on dashboard.

File amended RCG message on request of Forwarding Controller.

Assist Forwarding Controllers to follow up with origin offices who file RCG via Tradetech should amendments be required

Together with Forwarding Manager & National Forwarding GM, beome SME on RCG

Assist Forwarding Controllersand other internal stakeholders with queries where required

Working with relevant tools, monitor deviations from Processes and work with BIL departments to resolve deviations

Assist with training of RCG where required
