-Introduction
Role Purpose

Lead scrum teams in Agile development, guiding them towards product releases within set guidelines, ensuring clear communication and team organisation, product backlog maintenance and release planning, and facilitating core Agile ceremonies and practices.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in IT or equivalent
- Formal CSM
- At least 8-10 years as a Scrum Master or related experience
development (technical operations and projects).
- Computer literate, including competency with Jira, miro, lucid, MS project, O365, Teams, and
SharePoint.
- Experienced working with different frameworks within Agile, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
- Solid understanding of Lean and Lean principles and the ability to propagate this into the teams
and the organisation.
- Familiarity with common online and e-commerce concepts, tools, and technologies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing communication between agile teams and product owners of internal and external
business units to develop solutions that supports business needs.
- Help and coordinate the development and documenting of software requirements in
collaboration with the product owners, Business Analysts, and team.
- Coordinate business objective delivery within agreed timelines.
- stablishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all team members and
sponsors while managing time and costs.
- Exhibits Lean-Agile leadership.
- Facilitates the team's progress toward team goals.
- Monitor and improve the team’s quality, predictability, flow, and velocity performance.
- Momentum Investments | Retail Investments Page 2 of 3.
- Help the team focus on daily and sprint goals in the context of Program Increment (PI)
Objectives.
- Teaches problem-solving techniques and helps the team become better problem-solvers for
themselves.
- Facilitates all team meetings, including Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Review, and
Retrospective.
- Supports the Product Owner - helps the Product Owner in their efforts to create and manage
the backlog in the team.
- Eliminates impediments.
- Help foster a culture of discipline and craftsmanship that is the hallmark of effective Agile
teams.
- Builds a high-performing team - Focuses on ever-improving team dynamics and performance.
- Helps the team manage conflict.
- Helps coordinate inter-team dependencies through coordination with other teams - The
Scrum Master is typically the representative in the Scrum of Scrums (SoS) meeting.
- Helps the team understand how to estimate Stories, Features, and Capabilities.
