We’re looking for a new IT Systems Management Team Leader That’s quite a mouthful, for the rest of the spec it’s simply a ITSM Team Leader. **_ So what is it and why is it such a cool opportunity?_**_ _ - You will be accountable for the ITSM governance layer within the Mr Price Group tech team - You would be a key leader in designing and managing a new ITSM management program. - You would oversee the ITSM process resolution, ensure stakeholder awareness, and measure the effectiveness of the ITSM management process. **_Sound like something you’d love to do?_** **what we’re looking for to apply?** - ITIL intermediate certifications - 5+ years of combined experience implementing ITSM and running ITSM teams - Minimum 3 years of ITIL Process experience - Strong communicational, analytical, organisational and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into IT operational improvements. **a day in your life?** - Ensure that incident, major incident and problem management policies and processes are monitored, adhered to, reviewed - Ensure that all major incidents are properly documented, lessons learned properly captured and then followed up on." - Request and Change Management - Ensure that change and request management policies and processes are monitored, adhered to, reviewed. - Ensuring that the asset, configuration and knowledge management process is known and run in relevant parts according to the organizations structure, strategy, and needs - Monitoring and reviewing the activities of the teams that are involved in the asset, config and knowledge management practice - Collect and maintain service catalogue data. - Coordinating activities and staff members to properly manage the incident’s world - Communicate and prioritise workflow/expectations for direct reports team to achieve set targets and distribute work equitably - Engage with other technical leaders across the company to identify ways to improve and build upon the capabilities of our ITSM processes - Ensure operational implementation and adherence of ITSM polices - Measuring the effectiveness of the ITSM management process - Formally communicating decisions through the knowledge management practice lifecycle to the stakeholders and affected parties **about us** Mr Price Group is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to Employment Equity. - We have benefits From the financial benefits like medical aid for you and your fam, pension fund, bonus structures & shares, to the cultural benefits like a growth & innovation culture, half day Fri-yay’s, study leave & great coffee We have ‘em all._ **click here to learn more about who we are** Please note: All applicants must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in line with the Mr Price Group company policy.
