**purpose**:

- To provide GIS support to the business in terms of preparation and input into business cases. Responsible for the maintenance of GIS databases, and the construction and enhancement of models and working documents.**experience and qualifications**:

- Minimum Qualification : Relevant Degree/diploma in Geographical Information Systems, Geography or related field.
- Experience : 1 to 2 years’ experience working in geographical analysis on market areas.**additional requirements**:

- 1. Qualifications required - Bsc Geo Informatics 2. Proficient in mapping Software - Mapinfo, Arc GIS, Excel, Google Earth 3. Additional Software Knowledge - SQL Server 4. Technical (informatics route) experience is a must

**responsibilities**:

- Prevent wastage, and on an ongoing basis identify process improvements in order to contain and reduce costs.
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG.
- Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate.
- Continuously focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Provide GIS input for model development.
- Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes.
- Provide an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all relevant information.
- Maintain and update the Branch, ATMs or any other required datasets on the GIS system.
- Support the spatial planning team with the preparation and compilation of viability reports for business case input.
- Support Branch Delivery departments including mapping.
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines in order to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.
