Executive Assistant to Executive Team

PeSo Holdings is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide support to the Group Chairman and Human Capital Executive.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS**:
- Provide support to the executive team as directed to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently
- Daily diary management
- Manage communication between management and employees, liaising with internal and external stakeholders on various projects and tasks
- Plan and orchestrate work to ensure the senior executives’ priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld
- Assist in Human Capital related tasks such as recruitment, employee training and development, payroll etc, leave management
**COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**:

- Planning, coordination and follow through skills
- Able to manage change and shifting priorities
- Sound research and analytical skills.
- Strong skills in report writing and in presenting.
- Strong desire to add value and make a difference.
- Self-starter - can run independently.
- Team player and can coordinate effectively across multiple functions and disciplines.
**REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Experience is Key**:
- Minimum 10 years working experience post qualification
- Qualification: Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or simillar
- 5 years supporting Senior Executives with Planning, Diary Management, and responsibility at Senior or Executive level for at least one Strategic operational area
- Ability to write Reports - usable by Executives and Operational groups for implementation
Location is UKZN Westville Campus to support the Executive Human Capital and Strategic Operations. This Executive's Office supports the Office of the Executive Chairman who is also the UKZN Director of Innovation and Commercialisation. PeSo Holdings is a holding company for:
- EnF - a specialised Communications company which manages, among others, the Bio Africa Convention, Innovation Events including Virtual ones, and supports its key Client (and parent shareholder, PCK Distributors - an operator of Food manufacturing, distribution and hospitality companies)
- PeSo Innovations - which manages a number of large strategic national Innovation strategy projects, supports the UKZN Director of Innovation and Commercialisation with research and analytics, designs and support clients' Innovation Hub strategies and implementation and others
- Johannesburg based PT Advisory - a boutique Corporate Advisory firm
The work environment is high pressure but underpinned by an entrepreneurial and innovation culture. The individual has to be a self-starter and committed to learning, as opportunities for growth are plenty including Partnership track.
**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
