Cashbook and Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Multi Award Winning Nursery-Stodels is looking for a Cashbook and Accounts Receivable Supervisor to be responsible and accountable for the processing of all transactions of the Cashbook, accounts receivable, reconciliation of the cashbook to bank statements and all debtors control accounts.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Cash Book**:

- Oversee all deposits (Cash cheques and credit cards)
- Oversee of all receipts (Admin deposits and control receipts)
- Liaise with Nomad, FNB, Nedbank & customers on queries
- Processing of all manual cheques/ EFT’s
- To enter all direct bank expenses Eg. Bank charges, merchant fees etc
- To do bank reconciliation to bank statement.
- Balance General Ledger Accounts E.g. clearing & suspense accounts, overs and unders.
- Adhoc EFT payments
- Webstore (Online) weekly reconciliation of prepayments received vs cash up & deliveries.

**Accounts Receivable**:

- Debtors follow up and statements
- Balance sub ledger to ledger
- Oversee all deductions (wages and salaries).
- Print statements and all reports.
- Attend to queries

**Petty Cash**:

- Administer the Head Office petty cash
- Oversight of the branch petty cash and allocations
- Oversight on the branch safe handover process

**Cash In transit**:

- Manage the of branch change request requirements.
- Manage the relationship and queries with the CIT provider.

**Tenant admin**:

- Monthly tenant rental and utility billing
- Lease agreement admin

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- 5 years cashbook experience (advantageous)
- Experience with SAP Business One and report viewer (advantageous)
- Good Numeracy, analytic and computer skills.
- Drivers license and vehicle (advantageous)
