**Job Title: Industrial & Commercial (I&C) Energy Storage Sales Manager**
**Responsibilities**:
- Focus on developing I&C clients in South Africa (manufacturing, mining, retail, agriculture, etc.), identify ESS needs, and deliver customized PV + ESS solutions.
- Lead client electricity analysis, ESS configuration design, economic assessments (ROI, peak-valley arbitrage models), and deliver feasibility reports.
- Provide technical guidance to clients' personnel on product installation and commissioning to ensure smooth delivery.
- Research South African energy policies (e.g., REIPPP renewable energy bidding, tax incentives), electricity tariff structures, and loadshifting risks to formulate market strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events (e.g., African Energy Week) and local chamber of commerce activities to enhance brand presence.
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience in I&C ESS/BESS sales or PV systems/power equipment sales preferred (familiarity with South African SANS/IEC standards required).
- Existing local business network in South Africa (clients, channels, government agencies) preferred.
- Proficiency in English; Afrikaans or isiZulu language skills advantageous.
- Ability to interpret client electricity bills & load curves; fundamental knowledge of ESS technical parameters (capacity, power, cycle life).
- Proactive in pioneering new markets within startup teams, establishing standardized sales processes, and coordinating efficient collaboration between China HQ and South African operations.
Pay: R15 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
