**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the Enterprise Applications capability within a global context
- Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budget to ensure it is consistent with the strategic objectives and aligned to the plan
- Implement and manage Application Services in accordance with governance, compliance, and quality policies and standards
- This role is accountable for driving technology scoping, evaluation, selection and implementations
- Architect business processes that are optimization to enable fit for purpose technology solutions
- Hires and evaluates the performance of direct reports and provides ongoing coaching and staff development.
- Create a culture of continuous learning where the current and future technology trends are well understood to guide the technology requirements of the business
- Develops relevant metrics, measures, and publishes the performance of the services provided and enables continuous improvement activities
- Deliver projects within agreed scope, budget and quality
- This role will also be accountable for designing reusable solutions that are optimized to deliver a predictable total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Matric / Grade 12
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years’ experience managing Business Application Services (i.e., ERP, Process Architecture, Business Analysis, Integration, Automation) in a large complex/matrix global organisation
- 10+ years’ experience leading teams, internal and 3rd parties in a multivendor approach
- 6+ years' of Enterprise architecture experience
- Experience Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Microservices
- Experience in Business Applications (i.e. HRIS, ERP, CRM, etc)
- Training or experienced in TOGAF 9, COBIT certification
- ITIL certification
- BABOK training/certification preferred
- PMPOK or Prince 2 training /certification preferred
- GDPR experience
- BPMN 2.0 and experience in business process modelling tools i.e. ARIS
- Understanding of industry known Process Classification Standards such as APQC
- Experience in SOX3 or King 4
- Experience with ISO9001
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such an NIST or ISO27001
