We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced data scientist to join our Global Markets division. In this role, you will work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and data engineers to develop and implement advanced models and algorithms to support decision-making for our global markets business. **Job Description**:
Develop and implement advanced models and algorithms to support global markets business

Utilize data from data lake and data warehouse on AWS to build predictive models and identify opportunities

Collaborate with data engineers to access and manipulate data as needed

Communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders and make recommendations for action

Continuously improve models and algorithms through experimentation and testing

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field

Strong experience in machine learning, statistics, and data modeling

Strong programming skills in Python and SQL

Experience with AWS technologies and big data tools such as Hadoop and Spark is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

Experience in the financial industry is a plus
