**BAT SOUTH AFRICA** **IS LOOKING FOR A NEW CATEGORY LOGISTICS MANAGER TO JOIN OUR TEAM IN HEIDELBERG**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Management

**FUNCTION**: Operations

**LOCATION**:Heidelberg, Gauteng

**REPORTS TO**:Supply Chain Manager

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Collaboration with SNO & local Supply Chain for On time delivery and supply of FG to achieve volume & profit targets.
- Support NPI delivery OTIF
- Drive performance deliverables for New Categories - OTIF; CFR; Working Capital (Durations and costs).
- Ensure effective controls and governance are in place for New Categories Supply Chain processes and accounts.
- Achieve high performance by coaching and motivating people, valuing different approaches and visibly supporting team decisions whilst maximizing individual and team capabilities.
- Act as a Leader to ensure sharing knowledge in the team for the purpose of adopting and developing global and regional processes and best practices.
- Develop people with the right attitude, skills and capabilities to build a professional New Categories Supply Chain and talent pipeline for the future for a future fit OD
- Work with the SNO, local Supply Chain & Commercial teams in order to provide a valid input to the A-S&I, R-S&I & SOP cycle
- Manage Twisp demand planning as input into the Demand Review Meeting & SOP
- Ensuring raw materials to finish product is achieved in the most flexible, cost effective and efficient way practicable
- Manage Twisp Logistics network and identify opportunities for innovation and optimization
- Manage and control the Twisp Supply Chain budget and financials

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Relevant university degree (e.g. Bachelor in Supply Chain Management, Engineering etc.)
- 3 to 5 years experience in Supply Chain in a FMCG environment
- Proactive, independent and forward thinking with the ability to deliver in high pressure, tight deadline situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint etc) with SAP experience as a plus.
- A strong analytical and coaching skills which inspires superior performance
