Finance Intern

Our company is a lodge and hotel group based in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team;
- Day-to-day bookkeeping;
- Stock control;
- Administrative support to our lodges;
- Reconcile Customer Accounts;
- Assist with month-end procedures, reporting and statistics;
- Any other duties, as assigned by the Finance manager, in line with role requirements.
Key Competencies
- Must be computer literate and be able to work in Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
- Have excellent time management skills;
- Be analytical;
- Have good communication (written and verbal) skills in English
- Have strong organisational and administrative skills;
- Be reliable, organised, and pay excellent attention to detail;
- Be able to work well under pressure;
- Have the ability to multi-task;
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Have a strong work ethic; and
- Be presentable and well spoken.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 certificate;
- Must have completed or be in the process of completing a BCom degree or equivalent qualification (preferably BCom / Diploma in Financial Management, Accounting, Controlling) - Mandatory;
- Experience in financial & bookkeeping data capture is a must;
- Basic accounting knowledge will be highly desirable;
- Ad-hoc travel to clients will expected;
- Must be based locally;
- Own transport is essential.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Internship
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: R6,500.00 per month
