**Your Purpose**
The Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of travel bookings. This role supports the sales team by handling booking administration, supplier communication, and key logístical elements, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service.

**Your Core Responsibilities**

**Sales & Booking Coordination**
- Issue all travel documentation, including itineraries, vouchers, and flight details.
- Check availability of requested suppliers and secure provisional bookings.
- Confirm bookings, issue flights, and ensure all special requests are accommodated.
- Reconfirm all travel services for upcoming trips.
- Load bookings into the reservations system and assist with invoicing.

**Operational Efficiency**
- Maintain and update the CRM system.
- Assist the Product, Marketing, and Sales teams with ad-hoc duties as needed.

**Customer Experience & Quality Control**
- Ensure seamless communication between the sales team and service providers.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of accuracy in all documentation and client communication.

**Who We’re Looking For**

**Qualifications & Job Requirements**
- A **Tourism Degree** or relevant qualification.
- Proficiency in **MS Office / Google Workspace**.
- Knowledge of **Travelyst and WETU** (advantageous).

**Experience**
- **2+ years’ experience** in the inbound safari industry.
- **2+ years’ experience** in an administrative or sales support role within the tourism sector.

**Skills, Knowledge & Attributes**
- Excellent **written and verbal communication** skills.
- Superior **interpersonal skills** and **emotional intelligence**.
- Strong **admin and organizational skills** with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to **remain calm and professional** under pressure.
- Proficiency in various **tourism software systems** (Travelyst, WETU, Google Workspace).
- Strong **customer service mindset** and ability to problem-solve efficiently.
- Passion for **African travel** and a good knowledge of **Southern and East Africa**.
- Highly flexible, self-motivated, and able to work in a **fast-paced** environment.
