An exciting opportunity exists for an **Assistant Facilities Manager **at **Indigo Brands**, Epping, Cape Town. As the successful incumbent, you will have to assist the Facilities Manager with ensuring that the buildings, fire care, electrical and related facilities infrastructure is according to company and legislative requirements. You have to ensure that those assets are managed according to the asset care strategies, incorporating good health and safety practices and maintaining sound facilities standards to ensure optimised services delivery.

- To Assist With Ensuring a Functional, Safe and Compliant Facilities Infrastructure
- To Assist with Ensuring a Well-Managed and Effective Utilisation of Assets (Asset Care)
- To Assist with Ensuring Compliance to Health and Safety
- To Assist with Managing Projects to Ensure the Effective Delivery of Services
- Hygiene and Housekeeping to Ensure a Neat and Hygienic Working Environment
- To Assist Ensure Accurate Reporting and Financial Control

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ appropriate experience gained in an industrial facilities environment
- Minimum 5 years’ asset care experience gained in a facilities environment
- Desired sound construction and electrical reticulation knowledge would be advantageous
- Exposure to general services and infrastructure will be advantageous

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 / Matric

**Additional Requirements**:

- MS office
- SAP
- Application of commercial and financial principles of costs, profit, risk and competitive advantage
