The Regional Project Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing commercial, M&A, operational, and sustainability projects in the region. The Regional Project Manager for AMET is responsible for driving operational excellence, optimize resource utilization, and achieve successful project outcomes that align with the company's strategic vision and growth objectives, with a particular focus on AMET-based projects.
- Lead the development and implementation of robust project management across the AMET region, leveraging deep industry expertise and stakeholder insights to drive operational excellence, optimize resource utilization, and achieve sustainable outcomes that align with the company's strategic vision and growth objectives.
- Managing establishment of new production facilities and sites in collaboration with customers and coordinating all aspects with relevant stakeholders
- Managing and overseeing execution of commercial / M&A projects, ensuring successful outcomes through effective project planning, stakeholder collaboration, and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals. Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.
- Provide support for operational projects, ensuring they are effectively managed and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to identify areas where support is required. Offer guidance and assistance as needed,
- Lead sustainability projects to ensure alignment with the company's strategic vision and growth objectives. Develop and implement sustainability strategies to achieve sustainable outcomes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sustainability targets.
**What makes you great**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years work experience in Project Management and strong interest in Manufacturing
- Fluency in English, knowledge of other languages spoken in AMET a plus.
- Resilience and willingness to travel
- Willing to and experienced in working within a regional context
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Knowledge of Project Management Tools
- This role can be based either in South Africa or elsewhere within the Middle East.
