**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Operations Specialist will be responsible for all operational duties including inventory management, inbound flow, set-up and adjustment of sales forecast, the strategic development and execution of future production needs for local suppliers. He/she will comply to existing Supply Chain procedures for planning and sourcing purposes and is expected to participate in policy improvement initiatives to ensure timeous, efficient and cost-effective management of company’s operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Finance Manager in planning, organizing and coordinating functions relating to the operation of the business.
- Maintain an updated client, customer, contractor and supplier management system.
- Monitor expenses and budget in line with the finance and accounts department.
- Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to increased performance.
- Partner with Sales Manager to develop and update sales forecast on customer and material levels. Propose and implement solutions to improve the forecast accuracy.
- Analyse and validate inventory requirements based on service &inventory targets.
- Address demand-related stock issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Reconcile physical inventory for the assigned warehouse.
- Organize bi-annual inventory count and final reporting for the assigned warehouse.
- Optimize the workflow in cooperation with the customer service team.
- Ensure continuous and proactive collaboration and communication with other departments such as Marketing, Finance, Technical and Sales teams.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with JSOX and ISO quality requirements taking Nipro values into account.

**Profile**:

- National Senior Certificate (Matric)
- Qualification related to Facilities management
- SAP experience will be advantageous
- Proven experience in working in business operations or sales operations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good social and presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure
- Able to work effectively with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge of handling general office equipment
