Duties and responsibilities: - The CRM services play a key strategic role in ensuring the quality and effective delivery of a range of student support and wellbeing services, bringing continuous improvement and evidence-based practices to service delivery. - Providing leadership and management for the CRM team. - Collaborating with colleagues across Regenesys Business School, to promote understanding of student needs and ensure best practice support is accessible to students. - Integrating with other to ensure the quality of advice and guidance provided to international students. - Managing the entire CRM (student support services) unit. - Providing the strategic planning of the unit. - Responsible for drafting and facilitating the implementation of CRM units budgets. - Responsible for student-related support services - Responsible for student affairs services - Responsible for all activities of CRM. - Developing and maintaining good relationships with all relevant stakeholders, to include: Department of Home Affairs, sponsors, students, Departments of Higher Education (CHE, DHET, SAQA), Regenesys Business Schools staff, Regenesys Business Schools quality control unit. - Liaising with a team of facilitators when required. - Creating and maintaining a positive ethos within the CRM department. - Monitoring and evaluating students records maintenance. international students. - Creating a positive working environment in the department. - Monitoring and evaluating staff performance. - Conducting regular staff meetings for updates. - Planning for skills development trainings for team members to enhance performance. - Ensuring that an updated record of valid Momentum Students Medical Aid to ensure compliance with the department of Home Affairs. - Compiling permission to work letters, travel letters, visa extension letters, undertaking letters, confirmation letters for arrival of international students, cancellation of international students notifications, graduation of international students notifications and any other letters applicable to international students, to be verified and signed by the Registrar. - Monitoring and evaluating the social and academic progress of international students within the school. - To assist with the management of an effective programme for tutor time. To be directly responsible for the attendance of upper/lower school students. - To be aware of and work in accordance with the schools students protection policies and procedures, and to raise any concerns relating to such procedures which may be noted in the course of duty. - To be aware of and adhere to applicable rules, regulations, legislation and procedures including the schools Equal Opportunities Policy and Code of Conduct, national legislation (including Health and Safety, Data Protection). - To undertake other duties appropriate to the grading of the post as required. Qualifications and experience: - A Bachelors degree in a relevant field. - 5 years experience in a similar or identical role. - Experience of advising on international student matters. - Must have the ability to work without supervision. - Must have the ability to work under pressure. Needs to be a go-getter. - Must have good communication skills and must be able to communicate to different levels of students and management.
