A leading supplier of high-quality home interior products for the local and internation market in search of a full-time receptionist who will be based at their very busy showroom in Bellville. The purpose of the position is to deliver upon admin responsibilities in a timely manner, and manage the switchboard and reception area of the showroom providing a professional and friendly interaction to callers and visitors / customers alike. Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience will be required.

You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Assisting clients in the showroom with product selection

Maintaining showroom standards and stock (sample books, hangers, displays, etc.)

Handling customer queries with professionalism and flair

Contributing to a high-end, service-focused showroom experience

Provide a professional service and image to callers, clients and staff by managing a very busy reception and switchboard

Provide excellent customer service by supporting customer services, coordinating administration and filing and maintaining functionality and supplies of the showroom office equipment

Greet visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner

Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and accurately

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and deliveries

Provide administrative support to various departments (including data entry, filing, document handling, events)

Manage meeting room bookings and prepare refreshments for meetings

Monitor and maintain office supplies & groceries, placing orders when necessary

Assist with staff communications and general office coordination

**Education**:
Matric / Grade 12

Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with client relations exposure and knowledge of switchboard operations

Must be able to work every second Saturday from 09:00 till 14:00

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
