**Job description**

A fast growing group of companies in the motor industry and is seeking to employ the services of a General Manager responsible for day to day operations for one of its BU’s, specializing in vehicle tracking:
Duties may include, but is not limited to:
1. Formulates Tracking-BU’s objectives in line with Group Operations Manager to ensure the business achieves its obligations.

2. Review and monitor the business to ensure that objectives are achieved.

3. Guides the business and create a culture of delivery, and create the required leadership and direction into the future.

4. Creates the measures of business success to ensure that strategic objectives are attained or exceeded.

5. Formulate, develop and implement strategies to manage the external environment in a way that benefits the business.

6. Set performance targets and manage subordinates' performance.

7. Formulating of the Tracking-BU’s budget and reviewing it accordingly.

8. Ensure full understanding of Policies and ensure compliance within the Tracking-BU.

9. Develop Marketing Strategy: Designs localized promotions to increase brand visibility, preference, growth and sales dominance.

**Qualifications And Experience**

1. Qualification in Business Administration
2. Qualification in Marketing Management, Business Studies or Transport and Logistics Management
3. Strong business management or sales and marketing background.
4. Technical appreciation of tracking devices and proven experience in Motor vehicle tracking / telematics from reputable vehicle tracking organisations is a distinct advantage.
5. At least 5 years experience in a management position.
6. Driver’s Licence.

**Salary**: From R40 000,00 per month

**Experience**:

- Telematics industry: 3 years (required)
- Management: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
