- The purpose of the Production Planner is managing inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management.**Key Role Responsibilities**:

- Confirm the stock on the floor and book in system.
- Create stock transfer internally.
- Externally book material and give to logistics.
- Planning on-going
- Check raw material for planning and makes sure the quantities are on expected levels.
- Check supply & demand.
- Provide sales with lead times and targets in terms of production.
- Records filling.
- Ensuring customer service standards remain high and continually looking for ways to improve.
- Dealing with production to make sure they have the raw materials they need for production.

- Complete all relevant tasks as per work instruction.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed in a safe manner.

- Placing the purchase requisition for raw materials.

**Qualifications, Skills and experience**:

- Grade 12, Diploma in Industrial Engineering
- 1-3 years’ work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Computer Literacy
- Strong leadership skills
