Our client, one of the leading automotive suppliers worldwide has an opportunity in Jhb for a National Sales and Marketing Manager

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Ensure the efficient running of the distribution product business - internal and external sales, inventory/cash flow and order process to ensure AOP requirements are met and exceeded.**:

- Manage sales, inventory, and cash flows
- Ensure product availability
- Promote the business and products
- Personally, call on decision makers at head office accounts
- Monitor sales versus requirement to meet AOP objectives
- Ensure that sales objectives are set by customer
- Review representatives daily call reports and ensure critical requirements are met
- Hold quarterly business meetings with the sales team to review the business activities and share information iro performance vs AOP.
- Continually review customer requirements and sales history to establish sales estimates,
- Ensure that estimates are in place by product group, by size and type.
- Ensure that the production ticket reflects the correct quantities with estimates.
- Ensure that imported product quantities are in line with estimates
- Ensure that product availability exceeds 95%
- Manage the order process, for local and imported product to ensure that orders are placed timeously.
- Review all order quantities in conjunction with the product manager, to ensure that inventory levels remain within the AOP parameters
- Continually review slow moving inventory and create opportunity to sell
- Review all past dues weekly in conjunction with the national sales manager
- Ensure that all customer queries are sorted out to ensure timeous payment of outstanding amounts
- Communicate market related pricing to the marketing manager
- Communicate competitor pricing to the marketing manager
- Formulate sales incentives and promotions as and when required
- Support Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Ensure participation at all trades
- Customer Management
- Ensure regular customer visits

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Prerequisite minimum of 3 - 5 years Sales and marketing experience in an Automotive manufacturing environment on a management level
- Demonstrated proficiency in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to manage pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced SAP knowledge and experience
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Packages)
- Advanced professional selling skills and negotiation skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Experience**:

- Sales and marketing (management level): 3 years (preferred)
- SAP: 3 years (preferred)
