**_CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To lead and support the desktop technicians in providing technical, general desktop and system support for the

allocated divisions to ensure that users are able to work effectively.

**_KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:_**
- Provide leadership to the IT technicians
- Maintain calls on Helpdesk system and ensure user satisfaction on services delivered
- Stability at site 97% or more
- Ensure all assignments are completed and timeous feedback provided to all stakeholders
- Adherance to all standards for cabling and ewaste
- Ensure strict AV and windows updates and up to date user accounts
- Adherance to security best practices, company policies and SOP's

**_QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:_**_- Relevant tertiary qualification with at least 3-4 years experience in a similar fast paced environment
- Qualifications in A+,N+ and S+ is essential
- Knowledge of multiple operating systems and networking systems is essential
- Knowledge of Mac operating systems is beneficial
