Hydrographic Surveyor

**Job requirements**:

- **Preferred: BSc/MSc Hydrography**
- **Min: Degree Survey science, marine or nautical science**
- **2 years’ experience - Mathematics, computing, nautical & surveying**
- **Offshore operations - experience**
- **Must have Kongsberg and QINCY software, knowledge, and experience**
- **2 - 5 years’ experience - Satellite underwater positioning**
- Valid Passport
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate
- **All STCW course and certificates must be valid**

**Job responsibilities**:

- Manage the on-board software and equipment
- Operating specialized technical software and GIS to manage the integration, processing and representation of data to GEOLOGICAL department
- Providing accurate and reliable information for vessel navigation and anchor planning
- Maintain all mining system, navigational equipment including trouble shooting faults
- Manage planned maintenance, repairs and mounting/dismounting relevant equipment
- Responding to technical queries on board and problem solving
- Manage daily and monthly reporting as directed
- SHES - ensure compliance with Safety and Security policies and ensuring safe working environment
