**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
Operation and maintenance of vehicle for the effective distribution/ delivery of stock to outlets.

**VEHICLE OPERATION**:
**Core Tasks**:

- Perform general transportation.
- Receive tasks from branch manager.
- Ensure that the load is safely delivered on time to the correct destination.
- Ensure that the load is properly secured on the vehicle.
- Ensure that the relevant proof of delivery or reception of the load is signed off.
- Ensure that traffic regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that the invoices and fuel slips are handed in on a daily basis.
- Ensure the correct tyre pressure according to the weight of the load on the vehicle.
- Ensure that the vehicle’s license disk is visible and valid.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of vehicle,
- Perform various ad hoc driving tasks.

**VEHICLE MAINTENANCE**:
**Core Tasks**:

- Feedback.
- Delivery Documents.
- Invoices.
- Fuel slips.
- Accident Report.

**DISTRIBUTION/DELIVERY OF STOCK**:
**Core Tasks**:

- Ensure that the correct amount of product and product type is loaded on the vehicle.
- Collection of mail and parcels as needed.
- Ensure that products are loaded and unloaded safely and correctly.
- Always obtain proof of receipt of delivery with a signature.
- Received cash should be deposited daily.

**GENERAL STOCK**:
**Core Tasks**:

- Cleaning of vehicle.
- Ad hoc support as required/ instructed.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**Qualifications**: National Senior Certificate

**Requirements**:1 Year Relevant Experience.
