Product Owner

**ROLE REQUIREMENT** The Product Owner**: Cloud Centre of Excellence will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:

- Continue developing and managing the Cloud Centre of Excellence and liaise with its stakeholders to drive thought leadership, strategy and execution towards value realisation
- Evolve the cloud strategy aligned to our Technology strategy and Cloud service providers (CSP) roadmaps
- Define and run governance for all cloud-related forums such as cloud steerco and cloud architecture reviews while working closely with stakeholders such as Group Information Security, Legal, Privacy and wider Vodafone stakeholders.
- Evolve the cloud reference architecture, technical standards, service catalogue and value realisation framework incl the business cases related to cloud adoption projects in Vodacom and Vodacom Group OPCO’s
- Continuously develop the CCOE service portfolio and roadmap strategy in alignment with wider enterprise architecture roadmaps

**Manage the FinOps function within the CCoE to**
- Support IT Divisional cloud investment planning to maximise value creation and minimise time to value from cloud-related initiatives by providing input to Capex and Opex budget guidelines to IT divisions in the annual budget cycle
- Vendor management focused on the strategic cloud service providers partners (working with SCM)
- Continuous alignment with the FinOps, Engineering and Operations functions with the cyclical development of an iterative cloud road map to plan for ongoing changes to services\platforms as technologies emerge and new features are requested by users

**Key Deliverables**
- Cloud adoption business case framework and Business cases for workload migration
- Input and engagement via the strategic partnerships team across all CSP-related initiatives

**Working closely with the Cloud Architecture, Platforms and FinOps lead(s) to create and maintain**:

- Cloud reference architecture(s) for IT workloads
- Cloud technology standards and reference designs
- Cloud Service Catalogues and associated charging models where applicable.
- Cloud Operations Management Framework
- **
Cloud Governance framework, including**
- Value Realisation framework and tracking
- Cloud Architecture Review Board
- Participate in Group policy reviews and updates and ensure local market strategies/capabilities are represented in group policy updates.
- **
Reporting and tracking cloud budgets**
- Cloud Engineering
- Cloud COE (SA and OPCO’s)
- Inter-group recharges and fees

Cloud service provider partner management including**
- Operational reviews
- Technical reviews

**TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES**
- Comprehensive and relevant work experience within an Agile environment and understands the SAFe® framework.
- Have extensive knowledge of working in an AWS cloud environment, to a level that makes you a business partner for the business owners, architects, as well as Global IT and DevOps teams.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Have a degree, preferably in business administration, information science or a comparable qualification, or experience at a comparable working level.
- Are a certified SAFe® Product Owner.
- Have more than 10 years of work experience with IT Service Delivery in complex environments.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a product owner or program manager
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Agile/SAFe framework
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with AWS cloud technologies
