**About the role**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and with high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to suggest and design solutions that align with business objectives and strategies.
- Work closely with the IT department to ensure effective utilization and prioritization of developers and resources.
- Develop project plans and timelines in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to project managers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

The program manager should have:

- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams.
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs.
- Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the program.
- The ability to find ways of solving or preempting problems.
- Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business).
- 7+ years of experience in program management or project management, with a track record of successfully delivering technical projects.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Possess the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Experience working with IT teams and developers.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
- Experience working with Salesforce is a plus.

Pay: From R274.00 per hour
